Privacy of Customer/Subscriber Information

General Privacy Information
Keeping customer and subscribers information private and secure is a top priority for our company. There is a minimal amount of information that we collect from our clients and subscribers when they wish to apply for special support assistance involving password recovery and acceptance of secure data or for a newsletter subscription. For clients, the information is based on an ID card sent to you with your order and an email address through which communication of data takes place. For newsletter subscribers we collect the email address and name.

We are committed to maintaining the privacy of this information in accordance with law. All individuals with access to personal information about our customers are required to follow this policy.

We are providing this privacy notice to inform clients and subscribers of what type of information we collect, and how we treat that information. We hope this privacy notice answers any questions clients and subscribers may have in regard to our treatment of such information and reassures of our dedication to keeping the information secure.

Information We Collect for Support
For each special support issue (as described on our Technical Support page) we collect an email address through which we accept the necessary technical support data and provide solutions. We may require an optional phone number through this email address if clients wish to communicate to us in person. You will be asked to provide your SOS ID in certain cases. We may collect a shipping address if an item needs to be sent back to you (for example a new SOS card).

We use the information you provide to us only to respond to your requests, providing our services (e.g. Technical Support) and communicating with you accordingly.

Information We Share
We do not disclose any information about our subscribers, customers or former customers/subscribers to any entity except as otherwise required to comply with the law, enforce or apply our Service Agreement or protect the rights property or safety of Fields of Code, our users, or other related stakeholders.

We may disclose all of the information that we collect in special cases when working with companies that assist us in the direct servicing or administration of the particular products we sell, that you have requested or authorized, and only as necessary to conduct business. When information is shared with companies that perform services on our behalf, we protect against the subsequent disclosure of that information with a confidentiality agreement.

In no event do we disclose your information to companies that will use that information to contact you about their own products or services.

Credit Card Processing
The Fields of Code website uses a third party shopping carts to handle all credit card transactions originating from our site, we do this to provide our clients with the most secure and reliable way possible. When you place an order on our website the billing information is actually processed on the third party’s website that specializes in credit card processing.

Client and Subscriber Email addresses
We never share newsletter subscription emails or client emails with any other company.

Our Security Procedures
We restrict access to client information to those persons who need such information to provide products or services to you within our normal business activity. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards, which comply with regulations to guard clients’ confidentiality.

What You Can Do…
Be wary of emails that ask for personal information and never provide your personal passwords, SOS ID, personal information numbers or software user and login information without the proper authentication protocol. Fields of Code does not send emails to request such data electronically.
